Bibhu joined the lab as Ph.D. student in January, 2016. He did his MSc from Berhampur University, Bhanja Bihar, Berhampur-Odisha. He has qualified UGC-JRF-NET examination in June, 2015 in persuing Ph.D. in organic chemistry. His research interest in syntheses of unnatural ammino acids and nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) analogues by C-H activation mthods.

Sagarika joined the lab as Ph.D. student in August, 2016. She did M.Sc. from Sambalpur-University, Sambalpur, Odisha. She has qualified GATE-2016. Her research interest in synthesis of bioactive molecules such as PNA/DNA/RNA and other related derivatives.

Amarnath is from Warangal, Telangana. He did his MSc from Kakatiya University, Telangana. He has qualified UGC-JRF-NET examination in June. 2012. He joined the lab in August, 2012 in persuing Ph.D. in organic chemistry and working on the Synthesis of unnatural amino acids and RNA phosphoramidites for modified mi-RNA analogues. He has completed his Ph.D. degree in 2018.
Dr. Smitha Mohanlal
DST-WOS (A) scientist
Smitha obtained her PhD from NIIST, Trivandrum. She hails from Kochi, Kerala. She joined NISER as a PDF in November 2014 and is involved in synthesis of unnatural aminoacids, their peptides and exploring conformational space. In her free time she likes listening music, gardening and cooking.
